At Econic Apparel our products are made in Canada, designed and sourced with a blend of innovation, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. We pride ourselves in our ability to conceptualize and produce products that positively reflect the ideals of our company.  We’re focused on more than just contemporary design, we’re focused on designing for the future to ensure we have one.

Our blended t-shirts are made of 50% rPET and 50% GOTS certified organic cotton. 

Our ringspun combed cotton tees are made of 100% organic GOTS certified cotton.

We offer a closed loop recycled cotton program by a manufacturer in Spain.

Our Commitment

With over ten years of experience manufacturing apparel in Canada, Econic Apparel was launched with the goal of providing better choices for a better world, reducing the impacts of the fashion industry on our planet. All of our goods qualify for duty-free treatment for cross border shipment under USMCA or TPL. They are manufactured using GOTS certified, ring-spun combed, organic cotton and recycled polyesters. Fabrics are knit, dyed, cut and sewn in Canada supporting a stronger domestic economy.

Kemp Edwards

President & CEO

Kemp is an avid ocean and snow sport enthusiast who has spent many years of his life travelling internationally. He is always looking for ways to generate awareness and revenue for causes and organizations that he believes in. 

Vera Tam

Director of Operations

Vera is Brazilian and fell in love with Canada the day she moved here. Her favourite hobbies are playing in nature and exploring new places. Her work passion is to make a difference in the world by making sure what we produce is as sustainable as possible...

oh ya.. and she makes the best Caipirinha's and is known in Toronto as "Mama Brazil".

 

 

Patricia Roque

Production, Sales, and Marketing Assistant

Patricia loves travelling the world but also loves being a homebody and knitting. She enjoys kickboxing, anything matcha flavoured, and her favourite season is Autumn.


Edina Bartell

Product Developer

Edina is passionate about the outdoors; playing soccer, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking and spending time with her family. If she is not in the office you'll find her in in her garden finding new ways to be more sustainable through growing and preserving food.

 

Daiana Mourao

Warehouse Supervisor

Daiana is loving her new home in Canada, she spends her time outdoors discovering new places and new tastes (preferably craft beers)!
She is proud to be part of a team and a company that is concerned with environment and sustainability.
